STABLE GUIDELINES
All
horses brought onto Canterbury of King George premises must have a current
negative Coggins Report (dated within one year) and be on current
immunization programs for Eastern and Western Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus,
Influenza and Rhinopneumonitis.
All
horses boarded within Canterbury Stables must, in addition to the above
requirements, be on a 60-day rotational worming program.
This worming program shall be coordinated with other horses boarded
in the facility.
There
will be no smoking, use of alcohol, or use of illegal substances inside the
stable, within perimeters of all riding arenas, or on riding trails.
Stalls
shall be mucked daily.
Aisles
must be kept clear of any unnecessary equipment.
All tack and equipment kept on the premises shall be stored in the
tack room, or otherwise out of the aisles and wash stall areas.
Stable
aisles in the vicinity of utilized stalls shall be swept daily.
When
working in the stalls, doors may not be locked closed.
Feed shall be kept in the feed room, inaccessible to any horses.
